Luo Xiaolai Shares Insights at HKRITA's I&T Symposium 2025

Luo Xiaolai, Chief Technology Officer of Tessellation Group, recently participated in the Innovation and Technology Symposium 2025, hosted by the Hong Kong Research Institute of Textiles and Apparel (HKRITA) on 16 July.  This year’s theme “Navigating Change: United for a Sustainable Future” brought together leaders across industry, government, and academia to explore how strategic partnerships and forward-thinking solutions are reshaping the textile and fashion industry.

Xiaolai spoke on the panel “Innovating for a Sustainable Future: Embracing Change in the Age of AI,” moderated by Angelica Leung, Head of Consumer Products at Invest Hong Kong. He was joined by Dr. Leo Pui-Wai Ma, Dean of the Deloitte AI Institute (Hong Kong), and Mr. Kohei Tsuji, Division Manager of the Apparel Business Incubation Division at Toray Industries (H.K.) Ltd.

Together, the panel focused on the growing role of artificial intelligence and digital tools in driving smarter decision-making and building resilience across the industry. Panellists agreed that effectively harnessing technology is key to helping businesses stay agile and competitive in a rapidly evolving global landscape.

Drawing from the discussion, Xiaolai highlighted that sustainable transformation hinges not only on innovation but also on collaboration across sectors. To turn this belief into action, we continue to embrace emerging technologies, foster diverse partnerships, and push for solutions that address environmental challenges and drive responsible growth-not just for today, but for future generations.
