Tessellation Participates at 2026 Integral Conversation

From October 29 to 31, Tessellation Group participated in the 13th Integral Conversation in Guilin, hosted by the Integral Institute under the theme “Water Connects, We Thrive.” The Conversation brought together people from diverse backgrounds and disciplines to exchange perspectives on water and related challenges.
Edgar Tung, CEO of Tessellation Group and Council Member of the Integral Institute, delivered the welcome remarks. He reflected on how water connects landscapes, communities and civilizations, and highlighted how environmental, economic, technological and social challenges are interconnected. He called for greater collaboration across sectors and disciplines, noting that addressing these challenges in isolation can create new problems.

Jacky Yuen, Investment Director of qonvolv Ventures, moderated the panel “Water and Intelligence: From Hidden Data to Shared Decisions.” The panel featured Susan Hu, Lead of Nature and Climate, Greater China, at the World Economic Forum; Sabrina Peng, Senior Vice President and Chief Sustainability Officer of Ant Group; and Debra Tan, Head and Director of CWR. Jacky raised the resource demands of AI and data infrastructure. The discussion explored how data, finance and digital platforms can help businesses better understand water risks and make informed decisions.

Max Wong, Director of Sustainability and Social Responsibility, hosted the panel “Water and Humanity: Courage, Conscience, and the People Who Protect Water.” Moderated by Roger Lee, Founder of Roger Lead Inc. and Certified Forum Facilitator with YPO, the discussion featured Su Ning, painter and writer, and Silvia Vasquez-Lavado, mountaineer, author, humanitarian and explorer. Max opened by framing water as essential to life and a force that has shaped civilizations. He introduced a discussion tracing water’s connection from Guilin across borders and between people and nature.
